Graduated in Geography from the Faculty of Phylosophy, Sciences and Languages Imaculada Conceição (FIC, 1994). Masters Degree in Geosciences and Environment from the State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Rio Claro Campus (2001). Doctorate Degree in Geology from the Federal University of Paraná (2006). Postdoctoral in Geography from the Federal University of Santa Maria. He's currently Associate professor I at the Federal University of Goiás - Jataí Regional, Chief Editor of the Geoambiente Online scientific journal, researcher in Geosciences emphasized on Physical Geography and Environmental Geology areas, mainly in the research lines: Geotechnologies Applied to the Study of Basins and Water Resources.
