Graduated in Geography from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (1991), masters degree in Geography (Human) from the University of São Paulo (1998) and PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2006). He's currently IV adjunct professor at Federal University of Goiás. Has experience in Geography, focusing on Regional Geography, acting on the following subjects: productive systems (sugar-energy sector, biodiesel and meat-grain chain) socio-spatial dynamics in the Cerrado, public policies, sanding processes in Cerrado areas.
